After the recording, the narrator explained why the girl was stronger than the weasel old woman: her soul was bigger. The soul called "ege" is one of the three souls which, according to Udihe beliefs, each human has. It is sometimes translated as 'life' and is assocaited with vitality. A human can live only if his ege is healthy.
