In this narrative, an Udihe woman tells of a hunting trip by the river she once took with her husband and son. She tells of the techniques they used to hunt and kill deer, preying on them from dawn. She tells how they skinned the animal and cut its meat before bringing back to camp.
Recording: Udihe videos were recorded by Maria Tolskaya, some with participation of Elena Perekhvalskaya, in 2006 in the village Krasnyy Yar and in 2011 in the village Agzu.
Note: A similar story told by the same narrator is published in Kazama (2007: 26).
