Narration of the events of an American short film about a pear farmer and some children known as the ‘Pear story’. Here the story is retold in 2022 by Vasiliy Nikolaevich Tretyakov.

- VNTTideŋ guruːšəpulgi jaunər lukulγənə karziːnəγət kereːŋi.Those pears all spilt down from the basket on the ground.
- VNTTadaːt ičoːləqənə waːji taŋ jaːn köːd'əd öːk ejöːkə tude al teːn mər=aγoːlŋi.Then we saw that two boys were standing close by, lower from him.
- VNTAγoːldəŋ l'eː mər=anmə joːraːnuŋi.They stood and just played.
- VNTMaːrqənl'ə l'elək arakeːtkələk l'elə taŋ iːreːl'əlmələ tude arakeːtkəγə, waːji neme anmərγi met ičoːqənə l'eː an saːrik mə=nemeləŋ.One of them, uhm, with his racquet, he had bound a thingo on his racquet, I think I saw that it was a ball or similar.
- VNTTaːt qad'ir puren, mm, suŋdinurə aq joːraːnui.He just played by throwing it up.
- VNTTaŋ arai ičoːŋudəγənə arai taŋ l'eŋ, əə, köːd'əd-öː mandəγə taːt l'er mə=köčegərəiŋaː, mə=čamdiːŋa.Then they saw that that one, the boy, and so they raised him (made him jump up), helped him.

- VNTTadaːt taŋ köːd'əd-öː [tit ti] taŋ öːŋiń jaːn gruːšək tadimlə.Then that boy gave that child three pears.
- VNTTaŋ jeuluːŋi monur jaːn gurušək tadimlə.He gave them three pears because they were so nice (lit. saying they are nice).

- VNTTideŋ gruːšəplə pegiteːl'əld'əd öː taːt mə=keweč.That child that had stolen the pears left.
- VNTTuŋpə qad'ir taːt [uːnu uːnul'ə] uːnurəŋ tidel'əγə kötkəiŋi.These (sc. children) were going like that and arrived to that (one's), erm.
- VNTGruːšə aptaːnui köde tadaː wajidə mə=kereːj, keluŋudəγə mə=kereːj.The man who was collecting pears came down again, he came down when they had arrived.
- VNTKereːllək ičoːnaːm maːrqən l'egi əl=peleː, maːrqən karziːnə.He climbed down and began to look, one thingo is missing, one basket.
- VNTTaːt l'er qad'ir tuŋ dien [a] qoːdəŋ uːl'əl taːt l'eːnurəŋ ičoːdəγənə tideŋ, tideŋ öːrpə keluŋi taŋ guruːšələ leunurəŋ.Then, wondering where they had disappeared, and while he was doing so he saw that those children arrived eating their pears.
- VNTTaːt l'er tittəl ičoːrə waː pańaːi.So he just stayed like that looking at them.
- VNTJoːdəγənə mani l'eː tan tittəl pögiteːl'əlŋu.He probably thought that they had stolen them.
