Then the tsar said: “Naturally, I will vie it. Why shouldn’t I give? I’ll give you all right, but take my man to the forest on your shoulders. If my people see it, I’ll believe it right away.” The tsar’s servants were sent along with the young man. The young man showed them his herd, the servant of the tsar went up to it and could not say anything, he just gaped. He said: “This young man is like silver and like gold. I don’t know what to do with this man.” Then the tsar said: “It can’t be helped. I’ll give half of my city. I’ll give him my daughter.” The young man came and drove the herd to the banks of the tsar’s city. The tsar said: “Take my daughter, take half of my city.” The young man lived long and happily. That was my story.
