He took the tsar there and spoke, the tsar took his people and put them out and he took the town lad, the village la together with his friends to himself, he got his daughter ready to wed him. The three men turned back and said: “Why did we bring him along? Had we not brought him along, he wouldn’t have taken our bride.” They had no bride, no money, nothing at all. The tsar put on a wedding, the tsar dispatched people, he took the town man, the village man and they started to live in the tsar’s house, in such a house with such things. They lived long and happily.

His wife said: “Where are you going? Do you know the way to where you’re going?” “Who saw it, I have forgotten,” he said, “where to go.” “You,” she said, “harness your sled behind mine, tie your harness to the line. I will pull you. Come up to the women’s sleds and I will bind your eyes, so that they cannot see, so that your ears cannot hear. When the time comes, I will stop and only then will you be able to look. What is necessary you will be able to see, what is necessary you will do.” Well. And the way the woman said everything to the grandmother’s grandson, that is how he heard it all.

They set off again and went for a long or a short time. Suddenly they saw two sleds. They saw two sleds. One sled had all white reindeer, the fur on the sled was also white. The other sled had all black reindeer, the fur on the sled was also black. Then they stood near the sleds. The Por woman sat on the white fur and when she moved her backside back and forth the fur turned black. It turned black and the Vajnin woman stood there. At this time two men came out of the forest, one dressed in white clothes, the other dressed in black clothes. They came closer, the one dressed in white tugged at his sled and set off with the Por woman. The Vajnin woman just stood there. The man dressed in black clothes said: “So, sit down on my sled, your friend has left.” The Vajnin woman also sat down and he took off with her.
