A Khanty folktale about a man living alone after his family and people are killed by enemies. One day, while hunting in the nearby forest, he meets a Khanty speaking squirrel. After a few encounters, the squirrel reveals itself to be a beautiful young woman. The lonely man and the squirrel woman marry and live happily ever after.
