Then it jumped, jumped. The old man saw that the squirrel coming from another place was running. It thought: “If the animal which ate my children comes here I would lie down on the fir tree and let him eat me. Until I reach the home nest i will not stop. That’s what I must do.” And the old squirrel crossed the Supteng river and came to the birth and maternal place, looked to both sides. Two old owls were sitting. He is looking for the children, but all were hidden, were sitting. “Mother,” they said, “went out yesterday for cones and since then we have heard nothing of her.” The mother was apparently killed by the man who killed animals. Father had come, when father was coming from Kazymys, the mother of his children had apparently been killed here by the man on two legs. While the father was growing, the old man arrived from between the two rivers to look for his children.

So, they slept the night, the next day morning came and they heard outside the house, outside the tent the knocking of horns and clanking of hooves, so many animals had come together.
